Bags of Fabric!

Here is the first thing I made out of the fabric I showed you a couple of days ago... the stuff I wasn't too sure what to do with as the pattern was not really me and a bit too jazzy.

Actually I did like this pattern so have made it for someone as a present.

Cacti and pineapples... not so sure so will probably try to give that one away.

Parrots and watermelons the same... I enjoyed the process but don't want the product.

NEW FABRIC !!!

Don't you just love new fabric? 

This was completely out of the blue for my birthday.
Two packs of what the patchwork community call 'fat quarters' although I have no idea why (not a patch-worker).

These are certainly quirky and set your mind racing on what you can do with them... especially the ones that are not quite me.

Woodland creatures I knew exactly what to do with but parrots  and pineapples were more of a challenge. Cacti and watermelons?

Had to start back at work and it was really hectic so everything else has taken a back seat!

I debated long and hard between a moustache and a bow- surprising how something so simple can alter the appearance of gender and attitude.
