Ye Olde Curiosity Box - part 2

For those of you who enjoyed seeing the first part of the Pirates of the Caribbean curiosity box, here is the second half and then a pic of the whole box.

The top left (and right) box has plastic leaves from a pirate Lego set and a lovely plaster cast 'stone' my younger sister made me many years ago that looks like the kind of thing pirates would find marking out a tomb on a dangerously inhabited island (I really want to figure out how she made it and have a go at that sometime).

The tankard and spade are dolls house props from years ago, the barrel and treasure chest are back to the Lego set and the wool headed doll just a great find in a funky little shop (wish I'd made it!!!).

The sea shells are real, the starfish and treasure chest are charms and the fish are buttons with the back (shank?) cut off.

The red dragon is a Disney POTC keyring, the dagger and Chinese coins are trinket finds in Camden Market and the lady doll is a Kokeshi type I made from those beads you get in those beaded car-seat covers. Jack in the right hand corner is a lovely little Lego figure.

And here it is in its entirety taken with an old fashioned 70's filter on the camera, so more aged and faded looking. As you can see from the full pic, taken a few days later, I have to use something other than double sided sticky foam to make the badges stay in place. I may have to re-do those backgrounds in fabric and pin the badges on!
