I think we did it as children many moons ago, multicoloured and took days.
Well this one was green, came with decorations and moved at the speed of light (disclaimer: not actual scientific fact).
It came with these bits enclosed...
and assembled thus:
The sachets of liquid (and glitter) were poured in the dish and soaked up really quickly into the absorbent green tree-paper.
And now I'm going to be really mean and make you wait longer to see the results than I had to. Thinking it would take days, I left it to soak and it took only about 4 hours! I could probably have sat and watched it happen... or time-lapse-photoed it but no... instead I just missed it!
